Thanks for the 500 follows, guys. I’m sure it’s not much compared to a lot of the other great pro wrestling pages here on Tumblr, but it still means a lot to me to share my love of the greatest sport in the world with all of you. I’m truly humbled. :)

Rick Steiner Bulldogs Dances With Dudley - Extreme Championship Wrestling [August 28th, 1995]
After their stint in the World Wrestling Federation but before their return to World Championship Wrestling, the Steiner Brothers made a quick pit-stop in the land of Extreme. Their ECW matches never went past the single digits but there is an awesome novelty to coming across a photo like this.
It’s a shame that the WWE Network currently is missing ECW WrestlePalooza ‘95 where the Steiners teamed up with Eddie Guerrero to take on 2 Cold Scorpio, Dean Malenko and Cactus Jack — holy shit!

Start of a good rivalry? I wouldn’t mind seeing more from Sheamus and Cesaro.

The upcoming Paul Heyman dvd, “Ladies and Gentlemen, My Name Is Paul Heyman”, no doubt a must have for any collection, should be a top notch production as only the WWE can do. I can’t wait to hear what Heyman and his peers have to say about his legendary career. I’m sure I’ll learn a thing or two after viewing it. ;D

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past week you probably know Daniel Bryan underwent neck surgery last Thursday. I have to assume this is a legit injury and not some storyline angle. That being said I hate it for Bryan. The guy can’t seem to catch a break. I think it would be wise of him to remove the diving headbutt from his moveset for starters. I know he’s suffered a concussion in the past from using it. Harley Race innovated that move and has talked about the negative consequences he’s suffered from using it.

From all I can gather online there’s no real timetable for Daniel Bryan’s return. I’ve read anywhere from 2-3 months to indefinitely. Even though I hate the idea, I think the WWE would be wise to strip him of the title and let him get back in the hunt when he’s fully healed.

Apparently Punk was recently in Clearwater, FL where he got a workout session in at Bushwacker Luke’s gym. I had no idea Luke owned a gym in Florida. I always assumed he was somewhere in New Zealand throwing back Fosters (Australian for beer) and licking random strangers on their heads and faces.

Am I missing something with the Willow character??

FALL BRAWL 1997

Curt Hennig uses his ‘spot’ in the Four Horsemen (given to him by the recently retired Arn Anderson) to gain the Horsemens’ trust, only to turn on them during their War Games match at Fall Brawl and join the nWo. Curt Hennig damn near takes Flair’s head off with the cage door in what is in my opinion one of the greatest angles during the Monday Night Wars.
